1. Start your locked computer and insert the bootable CD/DVD to the CD-ROM. Then restart the computer to boot from CD or DVD. When it prompts you to press any key to proceed, hit a key to continue boot.

2. Seconds later, it will give you some options to boot, choose “Offline NT Password Changer” and hit Enter.

3. Select disk where the Windows installation is: type “1” and hit Enter.

4. Select which part of registry to load: type “1” and hit Enter.

6. All Windows 10 user accounts are shown in list: type “administrator” and hit Enter.

7. Clear administrator’s password: type “1” and hit Enter.

8. Now you need to quit and save changes: type “!” and hit Enter.

10. Save changes: type “y” and hit Enter.

11. Exit the system type “n” and hit Enter.

12. Remove your CD/DVD and then restart the computer: press ctrl+alt+delete.

13. Get into your locked Windows 10 computer administrator without password.

Method 2: Create A New Admin Account to Windows 10 By Using A USB Flash Drive, and Then Log into Your Locked Windows 10 Computer with The New Admin Account.

Without changing your Windows 10 password, you are able to use Windows Password Rescuer to directly add a new user account which has admin privileges to your Windows 10 computer without logging in. After that you can log into your locked Windows 10 with the new admin account. It is also easy to do.

1. Follow the steps in "Option 1" to create a Windows password recovery disk with USB flash drive on another computer. Once you complete the process of burning to a USB flash drive, boot your locked computer from the USB disk. When Windows Password Rescuer screen appears, select “Windows 10” from system list.

2. Simply click “Add User” to create a new admin account to your Windows 10.

3. When a dialog comes out, type in a new user name and password, and then click “OK”.

4. New user account “Aimee” will be shown in user list.
