How to Recover iTunes Backup Password for iPhone/iPad/iPod

Step 1: Install iTunes Password Rescuer..

To recover lost password for your iTunes backup, you must firstly download and install iTunes Password Rescuer on your computer. It can be installed in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP and Windows server 2019, 2016, 2012, 2008, 2003, etc.

Purchase iTunes Password Rescuer full version online, then you will receive an mail with full version download link and license in it.

Note: If your computer runs Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista, Server 2019/2016/2008, you'd better to run it as administrator.

Step 2: Select your encrypted iTunes backup file.

When finish installation, launch the software. On the interface, click “Open” button.

The iTunes backup file on your computer will be listed automatically. Select the iTunes backup file and then click OK.

Step 3: Choose right option for iTunes backup password recovery

The software will select Brute Force type for recovering password. If you still remember some characters of the password, I highly recommend you pre-set the character range before recovering the password.

For example, if your password is made of capital letters and digits, simply check both of options.

Step 4: Recover password for the selected iTunes backup file.
