3. In the next screen, select your USB drive from pull-down list and then click “Begin Burning” to write Windows Password Rescuer files to your USB flash drive. Burning process will be completed in half of minute.

Step 2: Boot Your Lenovo Thinkpad Laptop from USB.

1. Plug the burned USB flash drive to your Thinkpad which you want to unlock.

2. Press power button and hit Fn+F12 as soon as possible to “Boot Menu”. Hit arrow key to highlight USB HDD option and then press Enter to select it. Then the laptop will boot from your USB flash drive automatically.

Firstly, you need to download “Offline NT Password Editor ISO image CD” and a “Free ISO Burner” on another computer. Once the download completes, launch FreeISOBurner to burn Offline NT ISO file to a writable CD/DVD. Once you complete burning, go through the steps bellow to reset Windows 10 password on your Lenovo computer.

Step 1: Boot Your Lenovo Computer from CD/DVD-ROM.

1. Insert the burned CD/DVD to your Lenovo computer.

2. Restart your computer and open “Boot Menu”, select CD/DVD-ROM option and press Enter.

2. Type “1” and hit Enter to load a part of registry.

3. Type “1” and hit Enter to select “Edit user data and passwords”.

4. Type a user name and hit Enter to select a user account you would like to reset its password.

5. Type “1” and hit Enter to clear Windows 10 administrator password.

Step 3: Save Changes and then Restart Your Computer to Sing in without Password.

1. You have successfully clear the password, now type “!” and hit Enter.

2. Type “q” and hit Enter to quit.

3. Type “y” and hit Enter to save changes.

4. Type “n” and hit Enter to exit the password reset system.

5. Now remove your CD/DVD and then press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart your computer.

6. After restarting, you can log into your Lenovo computer as administrator without password.
