Reset Administrator Password for Windows Server 2022/2019/2016/2012/2008/2003 on Lenovo Server RAID

Step 1: Create a Windows password recovery disk with USB on another computer.

Consider that you are locked out of your server computer, so you will need to do this with help of another computer which you can access as administrator.

1. Log on another computer with internet access. Purchase Windows Password Rescuer Raid full version.

2. For a moment, you will receive the product from your email. Then download and install the software on the computer.

3. Plug in a bootable USB flash drive to the computer. Launch the software and then choose “USB device” from Windows Password Rescuer interface. (You also can use a CD/DVD.)

4. Pull down the drive list and then choose your USB device. Then click “Begin Burning” to start creating a Windows password recovery disk.

5. The burning process will be completed in a minute. Then transfer the USB to your locked computer which you would like to reset administrator password for.

Step 2: Set your locked computer to boot from USB.

1. Once you finish burning, connect the burned USB flash drive to your Lenovo server computer.

2. Power on the computer and hit F12 to open boot menu. Choose your USB device and then press “Enter”. The computer will boot from USB automatically. Read detailed steps if you need.

Step 3: Reset domain administrator password for Windows server 2022/2019/2016/2012/2008/2003 on Lenovo Thinkserver Raid.

1. Once you server computer boots from USB, Windows Password Rescuer Raid will run automatically and locate domain administrator and other built-in accounts. Now you can reset the administrator password with a few clicks.

2. Click “Administrator” that you would like to reset its password.

3. Click “Reset Password”. The software will ask you to confirm the operation, click “Yes” to continue.

4. You will see the administrator password is reset to “Hello@2011” by default and the new password is displayed in list.

5. Click “Reboot”. When a confirm message pops up, unplug your USB first and then click “Yes” to restart the server computer.

6. Now you are able to log on Windows server 2022/2019/2016/2012/2008/2003 domain controller as administrator with the new password “Hello@2011”. All data in your Lenovo server computer will remain unchanged.

Note: To reset domain administrator password for Windows server, Windows Password Rescuer Raid has to run on the server computer (domain controller). If you want to reset other domain user accounts’ passwords, simply click “Add User” button and enter the username. Then click “OK” to reset its password.
